What you need to know: 16-24 year olds only


West Lothian Council works in partnership with employers across West Lothian to offer job opportunities that are targeted at young people aged 16-24 that live in West Lothian.
​
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the programme you must be:
  • Aged 16 - 24
  • A West Lothian resident
  • Be currently unemployed


Are you aged 16 to 18?
If you are 16 to 18 years old you will be eligible to apply provided you live in West Lothian, are unemployed or have previously engaged in a More Choices, More Chances programme such as the Employability Programme or the Skills Training Programme.

Are you aged 19 to 24?
If you are 19 to 24 years old you will be eligible to apply if you live in West Lothian, have been unemployed for 3 months or more or have previously engaged in a More Choices, More Chances programme such as the Employability Programme or the Skills Training Programme.
