Exploration Workshop The CareerSense Exploration Workshop is a free 1-hour long learning resource focused on employability skills and building students’ career confidence, designed for students in S3 upwards. The Exploration Workshop is an easy-to-use 1-hour long lesson, where a Royal Bank of Scotland employee Ambassador will support students to complete a series of tasks using real life examples from the world of work. There are flexible delivery options, and the workshop may be arranged at a time and date suitable for the school. The Exploration Workshop also helps teachers to deliver the Curriculum for Excellence. Find Your Potential Lesson Having launched in August 2022, the Find Your Potential resources support 13–18-year-olds to discover their strengths and skills for the future world of work, with students receiving personalised information on future careers that they may want to pursue, based on their strengths and what they enjoy. The curriculum-linked resources help students develop self-awareness and confidently start to think about career next steps. CareerSense Dream Bigger CareerSense Dream Bigger is a learning resource focused on introducing entrepreneurship as a very real career pathway for young people aged 16-18; helping to inspire students, boost their confidence, and broaden their horizons by developing their skills and resilience, levelling up their transferable skills for the future world of work. The free programme includes a 1-hour workshop and 3 x 20-minute ‘Plug and Play’ sessions which may be used independently, before or after the CareerSense Dream Bigger workshop to embed learning – helping teachers to deliver the Curriculum for Excellence and benchmarks set by DYW.
