Lonza, Edinburgh are market leaders in the manufacture of liquid filled hard shell capsules and supply products for clinical and commercial applications. We require a permanent Trainee Production Support Technician to drive the continued growth of our site in Livingston.
The new and exciting role will support the continued expansion of our manufacturing facilities and are required to meet growing market demand and enable our customers to help their patients.
We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking people who are willing to learn new skills and have a positive, pro-active approach.
Manufacture of pharmaceutical products that will deliver improved patient outcomes and fulfill unmet medical needs.
Previous experience of pharmaceutical manufacture is not essential (but would be an advantage)
Required to work in a Regulated Manufacturing environment
Willingness to work in a Cleanroom environment
Previous GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience is not essential but would be an advantage
Have good practical skills - to set-up, operate and strip down modern high-speed production equipment
High attention to details
Able to work on repetitive inspection task without loss of concentration
A driving license would be advantageous as some shift work will be required after training.
Computer skills: Must be competent in the use of MS Office,
Literacy and Numeracy: National 5 in English & Maths
