We are currently looking to recruit Apprentices within the disciplines of Mechanical Fitting and Fabrication & Welding. What will I learn? Role: Oil States Industries are looking for 4 Engineering Apprentices for an August 2025 start date. Successful candidates will achieve a SCQF Level 5 in Performing Engineering Operations (Foundation Training programme at EKGTA ), a minimum of a National Certificate in an Engineering discipline and a SCQF Level 7 Vocational Qualification achieved during years 2,3 & 4 of the apprenticeship programme. Apprenticeships are available in Mechanical Fitting and Fabrication & Welding. Further study to HNC level is anticipated. Key Responsibilities: • Actively participate in a personal development plan provided by the training provider • Undertake on-the-job development training programme • Actively participate in company departmental rotations What qualifications or qualities are required? • Grade 3 or above in Maths, English, Physics and one other technical/science subject • Commitment to completing development programme • Has a keen interest in particular field, with relevant hands-on experience • Able and willing to follow instruction and learn new tasks • Communication and Teamwork • Problem Solving • Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel |
