We are currently looking for an Apprentice HR Administrator to join our fast paced People & Performance team at our Head Office in Newbridge, on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to learn and grow within a busy HR environment.
What will a day in this job look like?
Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
Answering and triaging calls to the HR team
Copying, scanning and filing documents
Liaising with other departments
Other general office administration
What will I learn?
Your hard work will be rewarded with an SVQ level 2/3 in business and administration.
In addition you will also gain experience in:
Soft skills (Communication, Team Work, Problem Solving)
An ability to work using own initiative (within agreed boundaries)
An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities
A basic understanding of key HR disciplines – Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Absence Management etc.
What qualifications or qualities are required? While no formal qualifications are required basic numeracy, literacy and communication skills are essential.
