MATHS IN MOTION - VIRGIN MONEY 2023 STEMTASTIC EVENT - THURSDAY 16TH NOVEMBER

Virgin Money are delighted to announce their 2023 STEMTastic event, focused on aligning with Maths Week and the Theme of “Maths in Motion”.
 
Virgin Money will be running three free Online STEM workshops/events on Thursday 16th November 2023 (rescheduled from the original September date), designed for both Primary and Secondary audiences.

• ​​Primary school workshop: Time: 9:15am – 10.00am - Live Online session; using Microsoft Teams. Designed for pupils aged 9-11, this will be a free financial educational workshop aiming to build their confidence in budgeting, saving, and spending using Maths-based learning to brings that to life. [Register Free Here]

• Secondary school workshop: Time: 11.00am to 12.00pm - Live Online session; using Microsoft Teams.
  • Designed for pupils aged 13-16, This will be an educational insight into how interest rates affect how we need to consider what we do with our money and where Maths learning brings that to life.  [Register Free Here]

 

• Secondary Maths Inspired careers panel event: Time: 1:30pm to 2.30pm - Live Online session; using Microsoft Teams.
  • Targeted at pupils aged 14 – 18, the careers panel event will consist of Virgin Money employees who have roles where Maths skills are the foundation of their work. There will be a group discussion and Q&A opportunities.  [Register Free Here]
